Quick and Easy Thank You card with Layered Floral Dies.

Hey Crafty Friends!

I first learned that Simply Cards and Papercraft magazine (issue 174) came with an Altenew die (they do amazing floral designs) from my amazing friend Claire and I knew I had to get my hands on it. The magazine itself was inexpensive but international shipping cost just as much as the magazine (it’s from the U.K., they have the best magazines because they always come with a free gift). But I should have been patient because I went to my local Michaels and I was able to find it by the registers.

I used the dies in the magazine with white Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb cardstock and colored the die cuts with my alcohol markers. I used my stitched rectangle dies to create a simple frame. I tucked my rose and leaf die cuts into the bottom left corner of the frame. Then I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment ‘Thank you for everything you do’ by Pretty Pink Posh on the upper right corner to balance out the layout. For the heat embossing I used Stampendous Copper embossing powder which is my favorite!

This die is so fun to use and easy to assemble and the end result is really pretty and professional looking. They look like expensive die cuts from the store! Plus they add dimension to the card, which I love, and it helped me keep the rest of the card very simple.

Thank you for joining me and I hope you enjoyed this post! Can’t wait to talk again soon!
